In late June or early July of that year, Burekos was one of several warriors assigned to a raiding party led by Chieftain Minas with the goal of conducting a raid on the grounded keyship, Anodyne Spirit. Burekos was able to survive the party's initial battle with the Covenant loyalists inhabiting the ship and joined Sopruuz in scavenging weapons from the dead. Later on in the raid, Burekos and Sopruuz came face to face with a massive three-metre tall Chieftain but were immediately pulverised by the impact of the chieftain's gravity hammer.[1]
