Bungie Motor Works is an engineering firm in the 26th century. It was involved with the manufacturing of the Hog, the civilian variant of the M12 "Warthog" Force Application Vehicle.[1]
Behind the scenes
- The company is named after Bungie, the creators of the Halo series. The logo is exactly the same as that of the real life company, just with added text underneath. The logo can be seen in the Halo 2 level Metropolis, the lower right-hand corner of an advertisement for the Hog; although the same billboard appears on the multiplayer map Headlong, the Bungie Motor Works logo is obscured by the frame.
- Bungie Motor Works shares its initialism with Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (BMW), one of the most prominent real-world automobile manufacturers.
