Alas, Poor Andrew Thomas

Alas, Poor Andrew Thomas is an achievement in Halo Wars that is unlocked when the player receives their first skull .[1] Its name is a reference to the famous line in Hamlet, "Alas, poor Yorick", which was also parodied in the Halo 3 multiplayer achievement Alas, Poor Yorick. The names of Andrew and Thomas were named after lead designer Dave Pottinger's two sons of the same names; the achievement's skull-based requirements a nod to the sons' interest in pirates.[2]
