The Aanrar Shipyard is a Sangheili shipyard on the Ranarum Orbital Platform, in the Urs system.[1]

Overview[edit]

Description[edit]

The shipyard had a dock where ships would be connected with an assortment of umbilical cables and conduits. There was also a dockmasters control room where clearance was granted to arrive and leave the shipyard.[1]

Work[edit]

The shipyard was known to construct ships such as the Ket-pattern battlecruiser.[2] It was also known to maintain ships.[1]

History[edit]

Constructing ships[edit]

Sometime within 2531, the shipyard partnered with the Muse of Yevon to construct and launch the Ket-pattern battlecruiser Truth and Reconciliation.[2]

Post-war[edit]

Sometime after the Great Schism, the Covenant frigate Unflinching Resolve was sent to this shipyard. There were other ships here as well, many with "scars" from the Great Schism, breaches in the hulls that had been sealed with alloy and drive housings, one ship was simply an aft section with its drive. In February 2553, Jul ‘Mdama, Forze, Avu Med 'Telcam, Buran, and several of Buran's crew went to the shipyard and stole the Resolve.[1]
