Terceira is a Unified Earth Government colonial world in an undisclosed star system. [1] Following the Human-Covenant War, the Spartans were deployed to the colony to suppress the local insurrection. Terceira is named after an island located in the Atlantic Ocean; it is part of the Azores archipelago, a Portuguese autonomous region on Earth.
