Epsilon Eridani system

The Epsilon Eridani System is 10.5 light years from Earth and is in FLEETCOM Sector One. It is home to several habitable planets, most notable Reach. It is also home to a number of suns and Beta Gabriel. At 10.5 Lightyears from the Sol System, it is one of the closest neighbors of humanity's homeworld.
Humans held the system for several hundred years, until The Battle of Reach took place here in 2552. After that, the system came under control of the Covenant.
Facts
- Is surrounded by an huge Asteroid belt with a circumference that reachs billions of kilometers
- On the border of the Outer Colonies.
- It is home to many of the UNSC's strongholds and military bases, such as Reach (The planet Epsilon Eridani is 14 million km from Reach).
- The space between the exit from Slipspace and Reach is a popular space pirate area, as unwary civilian ships will often be robbed of their goods.
