Summary
Covenant soldiers have been known to use rope-like tethers made of energy to climb and descend steep surfaces. These tethers were used by Covenant Elites during the Master Chief's arrival on Reach to rescue his fellow Spartans and Doctor Halsey from the facility they were hiding in.
