- March 13: Jerald Mulkey Ander, the leader of the Secessionist Union on Harvest, is assassinated by Avery Johnson as part of Operation: KALEIDOSCOPE.[2]

- May: The UNSC Gorgon is damaged in the Skirmish at Capella with Insurrectionist forces, resulting in the deaths of 32 crew members and requiring her to be laid up in space dock for one month for repairs.[1]
- May 28: Preston Cole writes to his brother Micheal, informing him about about the skirmish at Capella, and telling him that he was allowed a month of leave that he was gpomg tp spend with Lyrenne Castilla.[1]
