The Lawgiver was a Covenant DDS-class carrier attached to the Second Fleet of Homogeneous Clarity during the 9th Age of Reclamation. [1]
Operational history
It was caught in the middle of a fight when the Covenant Fleet went into chaos and the Brute controlled ships started attacking the Elite Controlled ships at the start of the Great Schism. The Lawgiver was held by the Sangheili and when they saw that the Sangheili controlled cruiser Incorruptible was under attack from the Jiralhanae controlled frigate Twilight Compunction, they subsequently attacked the Jiralhanae ship.
The Lawgiver damaged the Twilight Compunction, but could not destroy it because another ship crossed their field of fire. They also absorbed several plasma torpedoes meant for the Incorruptible, effectively saving the smaller ship. The status of the Lawgiver is still unknown. It might of been one of the few ships the Sangheili had to use against the Covenant Loyalists.
