Anvil rounds are a type of ammunition employed by the UNSC. They can be fired by electromagnetic weapons including specially-modified M68 Gauss cannons.[1]
Effect
When fired, Anvil rounds create an EMP pulse at the point of impact.[1] The rounds also deal more damage than the standard Gauss cannon munitions.[2]
Usage
During his tenure aboard the UNSC Spirit of Fire, Sergeant John Forge kept and modified a personal Warthog outfitted with an M68 Gauss cannon modified to fire Anvil rounds.[2]
Gameplay
In Halo Wars 2, the Anvil round is available as the first upgrade for the Forge's Warthog hero unit.
