The Commander-in-Chief of the Office of Naval Intelligence (or CINCONI) is the leading flag officer of the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) who serves as the command's administrative and operational director.[1]

Background

While ONI remains a major subordinate command under the UNSC Navy, CINCONI sits on the Security Council with equal stature and privilege to their parent service's chief, the Chief of Naval Operations.[2]

History

During the Insurrection and the Human-Covenant War, Admiral Margaret Parangosky held the position of CINCONI.[1] She was eventually succeeded by her protege, Admiral Serin Osman[2]
