Venezia is a human colony formerly governed by the United Earth Government, now likely under the control of a centralized Insurrectionist leadership. Sometime prior to 2543, the planet cut off communications with the UNSC. At the time, it was a known haven for terrorists.[1] Months after the end of the Human-Covenant War, rebel forces have begun preparation for an attack on the UEG capital, Earth.[2] One of its major cities is New Tyne.
