The Pilot helmet is a UNSC Air Force pilot helmet adapted for use with all UNSC armor systems, including the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor. It entered service in the UNSC Air Force in 2541. It has an appearance similar to the EVA and SPI helmets.[1]
It is an unlockable helmet in Halo: Reach and costs 90,000 cR.[1]

The player also needs to have the Inheritor rank to acquire the helmet.[2] Because of the rank needed to buy this helmet, the Haunted helmet is currently used by Bungie employees in much the same way as the Recon armor in Halo 3.
