Some members of Banished say he was an experiment, which became an affront to his fellow Sangheili. Others make mention of a clandestine ambush gone wrong. Prior to joining the Banished, 'Rdomnai has hunted Spartans, which the Covenant called "demons".[1]

At some point before the Installation 07 conflict in 2560, 'Rdomnai became the first recruit that joined the Hand of Atriox under the Banished.[1] 'Rdomnai came into conflict with Master Chief Petty OfficerJohn-117 during the conflict.[3]
