This Charon-class light frigate (hull classification symbol FFG-127) was a vessel in the United Nations Space Command Home Fleet. It engaged the Fleet of Sacred Consecration during the Battle of Earth on October 20, 2552, but was destroyed during the battle when it was cut in half by Covenant weapons. Upon seeing the destroyed ship in Earth's low orbit during his drop into New Mombasa, Lance Corporal Kojo Agu "took back" a sarcastic remark his squad mate Private First Class Michael Crespo had previously made about the UNSC Navy's response to the Covenant threat.[1]
