In pre-release media for ''Halo 4'', the Warrior set was often depicted as the main armor used by [[SPARTAN-IV program|Spartan-IVs]], being used in almost every preliminary video showcasing multiplayer content; including videos that introduced the SPARTAN-IV program, and the ''[[Red vs. Blue]]'' PSAs [[rvb:Save the Date|''Save the Date'']] and [[rvb:Remember To Not Forget|''Remember To Not Forget'']], with content within the [[Halo 4 Limited Edition|limited edition of ''Halo 4'']] also supporting this. The lore for the armor itself also seems to reference this as the original intent prior to [[RECRUIT-class Mjolnir|Recruit]] taking over that role. Why this seeming change occurred is unknown.
