Ranks + Spartans[edit]
Alright, because you asked here ye go.
Regarding Spartan-116, Spartan-121, Spartan-118, Spartan-123, Spartan-119, Spartan-124 they are actually in the Fall of Reach Comic. You can see a image here.
Regarding the ranks. We never see Alpha Company get given their initial ranks so we cant say they were made "Petty Officer Second Class". And we also never see Beta or Gamma get their initial ranks either meaning we cant. We only see Tom and Lucy with the Petty Officer Second Class stripes in Chapter 10 of Ghosts of Onyx, which by all means they both could have been promoted for one reason or another, and dont have the same rank they had when they graduated into being Spartans.
Aka the tldr version is, we cant say any Spartan-III ranks bar the ones stated like Tom and Lucy.-CIA391 (talk) 09:00, 13 January 2019 (EST)

- Regarding Spartan-II's in general, we only know of very few who are confirmed to have been part of the original wave of Spartan-II's who survived the augs. (we can probably make a list of those actually and organize stuff better)
- Red team for example were Washouts and thus we do not know their "initial" rank when they finally graduated. Its the same issue as the Spartan-III's here. Hence us being really really careful who we give ranks too. Many including Keiichi-047 "could" have been a washout but was rehabilitated back into a Spartan. (Plus there is the whole Class 2 scenario but that is another can of worms)
- Plus we like to be 100% sure with stuff, and never assume unless we know for a fact. "At least" doesn't account for scenarios like demotions or even the rare retired Spartan (yea while unlikely for demotions we'd rather not take that chance)
