This page details the wiki's policy on User page file usage. Like most wikis, Halopedia allows users to upload images and audio for use on articles and user pages. For details on media outright please see the main media policy as this policy is tied to that.
User page file use policy
On your user page a total of 5 files are allowed to be used. These can range from your personal images or main space images. On files that are not used on the main space, it must have "Personal-<insert name here>" at the start of the filename.
We regret having to be legalistic about this (the wiki is supposed to be light-hearted and fun, after all), but we have grown to the point that having a standard is necessary, and simply giving free rein in this area is counter to the goals of the knowledge base.
If more than 5 images are on a user page you will be notified and will have to choose. If you have not chosen within a week the Halopedia team will remove the main space files first, if no main space assets are on the page the team will delete the oldest user files. This will be done till there is 5 files left on the page.
Sandbox Exception
In the case of the files being used in a sandbox. These files are allowed to be there for 1 month since the last edit. If more than 1 month has past, we will remove the files outright.
Uploaded gallery
You are not allowed to have a gallery of every image you upload. You can search your profile here and link this instead to get the same result.
Alternatively you can use this, swapping out "CIA391" for your own username.
