The ship was part of [[Admiral]] [[Carl Patterson|Patterson]]'s [[Battle Group Omicron]] and saw action at the [[Onyx Conflict]]. During the first engagement against [[Joyous Exultation Covenant|Covenant]] ships in that battle, she grazed a [[Covenant carrier]] while attempting to disengage and crashed into two [[Covenant destroyer|destroyers]].
