This template writes the license information for a file. It also categorizes the page according to the license, unless the nocat parameter is provided. Valid values for the first parameter are:

• fairuse: A copyrighted file being used under fair use.
• permission: A copyrighted file being used with permission.
• freeuse: The copyright holder allows anyone to use the file.
• pd: The file has been released into the public domain.
• gfdl: GNU Free Documentation License 1.3 or later
• cc-by-sa-3.0: CC Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0
• cc-by-sa-4.0: CC Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0
• unknown: No license given.

An optional second parameter may be used to provide attribution to the copyright holder.
