Talk:UNSC Meriwether Lewis

From Halopedia, the Halo wiki

Class[edit]

Maybe the Meriwether Lewis being a Colony Ship isnt a Inconsistence, maybe he was on another ship because it said keyes held the Covenant off long enough for the ship to escape meaning the other ship could be fighting too.--UHSO. -Or, it was possibly at one point a colony ship later re-armored and was used for military purposes as a Frigate such as the case with the Spirit of Fire -Ergna 02:33, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

Could someone add the source for Meriwether Lewis being a Frigate?Mutoid Chief 01:06, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

I'll try and find it but it's in Fall of Reach that he served on two frigates prior to the Iroquois, the Midsummer Night obviously from Cole Protocol and the aforementioned Meriwether Lewis. Lord Hyren 04:06, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

Name[edit]

The documents accompanying the limited edition of Halo 5: Guardians spell the name Merriweather Lewis. Is it a mistake or when is it another ship ? 88.120.49.44 18:37, 1 November 2015 (EST).

Likely a mistake given that "Meriwether Lewis" is a name of a notable individual, while "Merriweather Lewis" is nothing. By the way, what documents was Meriwether Lewis mentioned on? Some of our own users cannot find the mention of the ship, as seen here. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 18:44, 1 November 2015 (EST)
It comes from Edward Buck's card. 88.120.49.44 18:51, 1 November 2015 (EST).
Ok, thanks! I noted the spelling error in the article as well. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 18:58, 1 November 2015 (EST)
