Talk:Halo Xbox One announcement trailer

From Halopedia, the Halo wiki

Announcement or Teaser[edit]

I'm going to rename this page to drop the E3. Halo 3, Reach and Anniversary were all announced at E3, but we just call those announcement trailers. We don't include "E3" in the title. But before I move it, should we call this an announcement trailer, or a teaser trailer? What I mean is, they didn't even show us the game's real title, and I can imagine they'll have a separate announcement which gives us the name at a later date, possibly with its own announcement trailer.--Emblem 1.jpg Rusty-112 Admin comm 21:28, 12 June 2013 (EDT)

I agree with announcement trailer. A teaser would tease, similarly to the e3 gameplay ending.

CGI company adds 5[edit]

This probably can just be brushed off as an error, but the CGI company that did the teaser just added it to their portfolio, except at the end it says Halo 5. Figured just in case, I should put it here. link

Ok, so maybe don't always use the DMR anymore. That two shot-melee is pretty good. This is craZboy557, signing off. 20:12, 1 September 2013 (EDT)

It is Halo 5 and is still officially Halo Xbox One. Anyway, it's nice to see how 343i change things at the last minute. :) 07:27, 2 September 2013 (EDT)

[EDIT]: Aww... they set the video to private. For those still interested in this video, essentially, the end of the video displays "Halo 5" instead of just "Halo".— subtank 07:30, 2 September 2013 (EDT)

Here's a GIF of it, if you'd like. Courtesy of some dude on the PA Forums. [1] Ok, so maybe don't always use the DMR anymore. That two shot-melee is pretty good. This is craZboy557, signing off. 21:09, 3 September 2013 (EDT)

I'd like to note that the CGI company changing the trailer does not mean it's official. It needs to come from Microsoft or 343 Industries to make it official. Just so there's no confusion. :)--Spartacus TalkContribs 22:15, 3 September 2013 (EDT)
