Crew Chief Duties[edit]
I highly doubt that it is the the resposibility of a crew chief to "make sure all ordinance in storage bay is secure before the ship lifts off". I say this because I am a crew chief (albeit in the US Air Force, not the UNSC), and the above description has nothing to do with the job. The job of a crew chief is to ensure that the aircraft (or spacecraft in this case) to which he/she is assigned is kept air- (or space-) worthy at all times. Our duties consist of routine maintenance, unscheduled maintenance (ie fixing random problems and malfunctions), fueling and servicing, and launching and recovering the aircraft. Loading ordinance would most likely be the job of specialized weapons personnel, and ensuring it is properly loaded and secured would be the job of the aptly named loadmaster.
- Cullen's duties were never specifically mentioned in detail. Sorry, I'm army, not air force. If you can, please add to the article what kind of things he would/should do. -ED 23:59, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
