Rampancy.net, originally known as The Core when it was launched on May 26th, 1999, is one of the most popular Halo fansites for the Halo series and was credited in Halo 3 for being one of the "Biggest Community Supporters". It was originally maintained by two webmasters, Ferrex and Noctavis.[1] The website hosts for all Bungie-related titles and content developed by spinoff studios such as Wideload and Certain Affinity. As a Halo fansite, the site provides a database of user-created forged maps as well as a database of fan-transcribed sheet music. It also hosts the in-depth "Halo Impressions" series that provides commentary on the games level by level, and a podcast series titled "Anger Sadness & Envy". Trivia[edit]
