From Halopedia, the Halo wiki's Website Main Logo, originally known as The Core when it was launched on May 26th, 1999, is one of the most popular Halo fansites for the Halo series and was credited in Halo 3 for being one of the "Biggest Community Supporters". It was originally maintained by two webmasters, Ferrex and Noctavis.[1]

The website hosts for all Bungie-related titles and content developed by spinoff studios such as Wideload and Certain Affinity. As a Halo fansite, the site provides a database of user-created forged maps as well as a database of fan-transcribed sheet music. It also hosts the in-depth "Halo Impressions" series that provides commentary on the games level by level, and a podcast series titled "Anger Sadness & Envy".
