After their escape, Spark explained that the Librarian gave him a coordinate key to a safe place, but did not elaborate further upon it. He also admitted that he sought the Librarian to access the Domain and find the ghosts of his friends so that Spark could either bring them back as geas or join them. With several hundred people having witnessed the departure of the Librarian's Lifeworker pod and multiple witnesses to the two humanoid figures inside the hard light beam, ONI realized that Spark had most likely met with an imprint of the Librarian. In August 2558, the Ace of Spades crew began following the coordinate key that the Librarian had given to Spark. Weeks later, the Librarian appeared to Rion in her dreams one final time and revealed the truth about what she had actually discovered in Path Kethona: seeds left behind by two Precursors who had found shelter during the genocide of their species. The Librarian took the seeds back to Bastion where she had nurtured them and built the Eden to carry the result to a world outside of the Milky Way where the rebirth of the Precursor race could begin with a clean slate and no genetic memory. The Librarian gave a final philosophical speech about her role in Living Time and stated that she had no regrets and quoted the IsoDidact: "you are what you dare."
