| During the [[Battle of Mombasa]] on [[2552#October|October 20, 2552]], Kizingo Boulevard was the site of a fierce battle between the [[United Nations Space Command|UNSC]] and the [[Covenant]]. UNSC forces have set up stationary [[M68 Gauss cannon]]s around the boulevard, but they were destroyed by [[Zurdo-pattern Wraith|Wraiths]] supporting the Covenant infantry. Despite being outnumbered, an [[M808C Scorpion]] operated by [[Orbital Drop Shock Trooper]] [[Michael Crespo]] eliminated the Covenant forces.
