After clearing out the [[orbital mine shell]], [[Arbiter]] [[Thel 'Vadam]] and his forces landed on the planet where they encountered Petrov and the UNSC survivors. 'Vadam revealed the end of the [[Human-Covenant War]] and the alliance between their two species to an incredulous Petrov.
