Vigrond Highlands

The Vigrond Highlands was a area near the city of Utgard on Harvest [1]. Upon the attack of Harvest by the Covenant ship Rapid Conversion, refugees from the small settlements in Vigrond Highlands fled to Utgard, the capitol of Harvest. [2]

In Norse mythology, Vigrond is a giant plain where Ragnarok, the battle between the gods, will be fought.
Many of the names given to the citys, seas, and other places in Halo: Contact Harvest have been plucked from Norse Mythology.
