Ulgethon

Ulgethon was an ancient Sangheili frontier world.[1]
History
The San'Shyuum land on Ulgethon.
Circa 938 BCE, the San'Shyuum arrived on the planet Ulgethon and made contact with the Sangheili race. First contact proved to be disastrous as the two species had ideological differences regarding Forerunner technology. The San'Shyuum attempted diplomacy with the Sangheili by sending a delegation to explain that they, too, worshiped the Forerunners. Led by an Arbiter, the Sangheili resisted their entreatment and summarily executed the delegation, thus sparking a war that would last several decades.[2]
