Note To All Under Heaven : Its just a diffferent version of the Frigate (I.e. Heavy, Support, Light, etc..), Its very easy to tell Ingame and from this Pic that it is a Frigate, yet a different class.  (Most frigates we have seen are under the classification of HEAVY Frigate, since this Frigate supplied many troops / Vehicles / Equipment more then the Forward Unto Dawn did, u can figure out this is just a Support Class Frigate.  (No UNSC Ship is over 4k Long, and UNSC Battlecruiser, made-up-fictional-Ship.)

New Note :  This is either a Support Frigate or very possibly a Destroyer.  As you can see wat looks sort of like a Secondary Mac Cannon.  Yet tthis could be a Resupply PipeLine thing to supply Water / Fuel for the troops and vehicles it carried.  Remember that Support / Light / Heavy Frigate's all look different!  By: ODST Locklear

The UNSC Aegis Fate, Hull Classification Symbol FFG-307, is a frigate of the UNSC Navy [1]. It was first seen in a stationary position over the area of a former Brute (Jiralhanae) Encampment.

According to the level description of Sandtrap (Level), the area the Aegis Fate hovers near was a Brute excavation site of a Forerunner structure. The vessel seems to have played a part in ejecting the Brutes from the area, such as supplying troops, vehicles, and supplies to UNSC ground forces.

note: I am not sure if this qualifies as a frigate under any circumstances due to its sheer size. When compared with the Forward Unto Dawn, which on numerous occasions you get a great deal of scale and size, from distance at a guess from SandTrap it is possible to be several kilometers from the map making its overall length at least 6-7 kilometers to the halfway make down the hull(this is guess work based on scale of ship to chief scale from numerous images). If any classification is necessary i believe it would come in as a rare Battle Cruiser, rather then the tiny frigate hull classification.

(I am no specialist, this is all speculation on my part, but this is what i think)
