Toha 'Sumai

Toha 'Sumai was a Sangheili aristocrat and was widely regarded as one of the best swordfighters on Sanghelios. He fathered Usze ‘Taham, who believed that he was his uncle, and aggressively trained him in swordsmanship.[1] 'Sumai's swordfighting skills brought honor to his home-state of Bothaes in Qivro on Sanghelios. By 2555, 'Sumai was deceased.[2]
Due to his position as a Swordsman, he could have chosen to mate with any female Sangheili he chose. In this case, the Elite who gave birth to Usze had already married a wealthy merchant. It is to be noted that Toha was not from the same lineage as his son, who was born to the 'Taham lineage. Toha was likely born to the 'Sum lineage. As befits his Swordsmanship, his name bears the "-ai" suffix.
