The [[plasma grenade]]s he had captured exposed a deadly amount of radiation, but instead of dying he  contracted [[Boren's Syndrome]], which kept him fron being infected by [[Flood]] forms. He was extracted with severe injuries along with his men, but lived.

The plasma grenades he had captured exposed a deadly amount of radiation, but instead of dying he contracted Boren's Syndrome, which kept him fron being infected by Flood forms. He was extracted with severe injuries along with his men, but lived.

Sgt. Avery Johnson received a Commendation for Bravery during the mission.
