Rhu 'Vrath is a Sangheili in service with Jul 'Mdama's Covenant. In 2558, Rhu infiltrated the Swords of Sanghelios to carry out an assassination on Arbiter Thel 'Vadam. However after seeing the Mark of Shame on the Arbiter's chest, Rhu himself felt shame and questioned his orders, realizing there was more to the Arbiter than he thought.[1] Following that, Rhu abandoned his faith in Jul 'Mdama and truly aligned himself with the Swords of Sanghelios. Rhu later served as a Type-54 Banshee pilot in Attack Wing Jardam. During the Battle of Nuusra, Rhu's wing engaged a Covenant Kraken. While flying at the walker, Rhu noticed Fireteam Osiris easily eliminating Covenant forces even though they were outnumbered; Rho then felt that Jul 'Mdama was a fool for believing humans could not be victorious when facing the Covenant.[2]
