Peter was also the first person on [[The Rubble]] to communicate with the [[Kig-yar]]. He had several henchmen under his command, such as [[Owen]], and many ships, but eventually he lost all of these due to [[UNSC]] crackdowns and the actions of Grey Team.

Although Bonifacio may not have believed that, ironically it was the truth, considering how Covenant never took prisoners and how they treated them on the rare occasions that they did. Later, while still in his escape pod, a [[Covenant fleet]] appeared in the system. After he foolishly attempted to communicate with them, hoping to find rescue, the Covenant fired upon him, thus killing him.
