Operation: MARSH FLASH was an operation of the United Nations Space Command in the former state of Arizona on Earth at the very end of the Human-Covenant War during the Battle for Earth. The operation saw the tactical deployment of nuclear weapons against shielded Covenant positions centered around Free-fire Area OZONE. As a result, clusters of high-value Jiralhanae leadership were successfully eliminated. It was one of the final battles in the war occurring at the same time as the Battle of Installation 00, eliminating the very last of the Covenant's forces.
The operation also brought about the end of the UNSC's ongoing campaign in the region.
With all Covenant forces eliminated, the Battle for Earth came to an end with humanity's survival and victory.
