Nueva Lima was a city on Madrigal, named after the capital city of Peru. In 2528, when the Covenant glassed the planet, the fields outside the city were the site of mass civilian evacuations via cargo ships. Among the passengers on the last ship to escape were Ignatio Delgado and Maria Esquival.[1]
