New Jerusalem was a large United Nations Space Command colony in the Human-held Cygnus System. [1].It was discovered by the Covenant and was known to be defended by the 26th Marine Expeditionary Force.It was mostly glassed, but as have right now no information is known.
Trivia
- New Jerusalem is named after the ancient/present day city Jerusalem in Israel, located on the planet Earth.
- It should be noted that New Jerusalem is mentioned many times in the book Revelation in the Bible as a heaven God gives to his believers to live in after the apocalypse.
- It is probably the homeworld of Lieutenant Commander Jilan al-Cygni.
