With the mongoose glitch, you can use it to get outside map boundaries easily.
The Mongoose Glitch is a glitch in Halo 3<nowiki/>'s Forge that allows players to bypass the boundaries of a multiplayer map. It requires two players.

In Forge mode on any level, grab a Mongoose and take it close to an invisible barrier. Have someone get on and then a second person get on passenger. Have the driver get off but the passenger stay on. Have another person go into Forge mode, pick up the Mongoose and by using Right and the Left stick, push the Mongoose outside of the map. The passenger can then get off, and he will be outside of the map. As one of the simpler methods to get outside a map, it is the most common means of exploration outside the invisible boundaries.
Have one player (Person A) enter Edit Mode, spawn a Mongoose, set it down, and exit Edit Mode. Person A should then enter the driver's seat, and another person (Person B) should enter the passenger seat. Person A should then get off the vehicle, return to Edit Mode, and pick it up.

Note that you can not explore everywhere for there are still the Kill Barriers which are either done by touching the kill barrier or out of the invisible barrier for a certain amount of time.
Person A should now maneuver the Mongoose outside of the map, at which point Person B can dismount the vehicle and end up beyond the level boundaries. Person B can explore, but should be careful to avoid kill barriers, assuming that they weren't killed by such a barrier the moment they exited the Mongoose.

The Mongoose Glitch is a glitch in Halo 3's Forge that allows players to bypass the boundaries of a multiplayer map. It requires two players.
