Miridem was a human controlled colony world. In 2544, the Covenant invaded the planet that eventually led to The Battle of Miridem. All that is known of this conflict is that the Spartan-II's were sent in and Sheila, was eventually killed, and listed as MIA. Dr. Halsey was also present at the battle, witnessing Sheila's death, though it is unknown why she was there.[1] The exact fate of Miridem is unknown, but given the events of the Human-Covenant War, it is likely that it was glassed by the Covenant.

Lance Corporal Morton, having previously lived on Eridanus II, lived on Miridem before moving to Minister.[2]
