Biography
According to the E3 2000 demo, McLees was serving on the UNSC Pillar of Autumn in 2552, which crash-landed on Halo. There McLees and the rest of his squad where to infiltrate a Covenant held bunker. McLees and two of his squadmates got to the bunker on foot, while the other three members drove there by warthog.
McLees and the rest of the squad broke into the bunker, but lost Segure in the process. He then entered the bunker with the Sergeant and Laine. When the three of them got ambushed by Elites, he died while pulling back.
