Mayhem was a corvette in service with the Swords of Sanghelios.
History
Mission to Installation 00
In 2555, a countdown to the activation of the Halo Array was discovered on Installation 07. The Office of Naval Intelligence made the decision to send a join UNSC-Swords of Sanghelios task force to Installation 00 to prevent the activation. N'tho 'Sraom was ordered by the Arbiter Thel 'Vadam to meet Usze 'Taham and the Huragok Drifts Randomly and take Mayhem to Earth so the Huragok could repair the portal generator for passage to the Ark.[2]
When the portal was reactivated, a Forerunner Retriever Sentinel immediately emerged but it was soon destroyed by UNSC Endeavor.[3] A meeting was then held on Mayhem upon N'tho's request, to discuss the next course of action. While N'tho suggested entering the portal immediately, Captain Annabelle Richards insisted they wait for consent by her superiors.[4] Not wanting to waste any time, N'tho ordered his crew to fly Mayhem into the portal but before they could enter, another Retriever appeared.
