Mac was a member of the UNSC Marine Corps who fought in the Harvest campaign in early 2531. At some point his squad was pinned down by Covenant forces. Despite Sergeant Hauser's warning, Mac was killed by a Sangheili wielding a fuel rod gun.[2]
