The MK71 emergency food preparation station is a piece of United Nations Space Command equipment, used to prepare food in battlefield conditions. It has a capacity of 12 gallons, and runs on 220 volts. The station can be powered by field-based generators such as the PG000E Portable Electricity Generator, or other power sources.[1]

Crates containing the device were seen throughout Mombasa during the Battle of Mombasa, and also shipped to Installation 05 on the UNSC In Amber Clad.[1]
