The Komodo, or the Komodo rig, is a general-purpose superheavy truck manufactured by Traxus Heavy Industries. Komodo rigs are used by the Liang-Dortmund Corporation on Meridian to support the company's excavation operations, transporting fuel and power cells fuel to-and-fro across the rugged glasslands. They were also used by the Liang-Dortmund Corporation on Alluvion.[1]

Trivia

  • Like many human vehicles, the Komodo is named for an animal. The Komodo dragon is a large species of monitor lizard native to Komodo Island, Indonesia.
