To find him, you must play on Co-op. Theater mode also works, but you won't be able to see him because the area is dark. Say you are in Co-op. Proceed normally as you would in order to get to the Terminal. (See [[Terminals]] for info). After both players are at the room, look on the opposite side of the Terminal. You will see a large gap and a small section of floor on the other side. This is the place you need to go to see the egg. Have one player stand at the edge and the other on the first's head, and face the gap. Then both jump simultaneously forward. Player 2 should now be on the section of floor, and player 1 should have re-spawned beside him. Then crouch jump on the next. Turn on your [[flashlight]] and look on your left. There he is! After both players are at the room, look on the opposite side of the Terminal. You will see a large gap and a small section of floor on the other side. This is the place you need to go to see the egg. Have one player stand at the edge and the other on the first's head, and face the gap. Then both jump simultaneously forward. Turn on your flashlight and look to your left, and there he is, standing on a small room with his usual shorts and his hands behind his head.

There are more pieces of floor after the two mentioned, and they are known to hide other secrets.

Trivia

  • Jason Jones was in the the acknowledgments page in the book Halo: The Fall of Reach.
  • Jason Jones said: "All the characters are bitmaps, you could only draw trapezoids. When you looked up and down in Marathon, it's actually just distorting the geometry. It's an optical illusion." [1]
  • His least fondest memory from Halo: Combat Evolved was Burnie's girlfriend almost killing him with a dart gun at 3:00 A.M.
  • According to Joseph Staten, Jason has a deep rich manly voice.
  • He suggested Halo to be called "Red Shift".
  • He also wanted the Elites to have tails, a suggestion many others also agreed with. However, when the animations of the Elites manning vehicles were in production, the tail was removed due to obvious reasons, as stated in the Art of Halo book.
  • Jason Jones appears half-naked in Halo 2 and 3.
