J-0 1 1-422[1] was a Sniper Jackal.
He fought in the Battle of New Mombasa, but discarded his Particle Beam Rifle for a Needler and a Jackal Point Defense Gauntlet. According to a historical account in the Believe campaign, a Jackal of his rank would usually keep it's Beam Rifle and not rely on a shield to better aim with both hands.
