The Homeland Security Act of 2162 was a document established in the year 2162, most likely by the United Nations. Due to the fact that during that time, the Interplanetary War was being fought between the UN and several rebellious groups, it is likely that this act was enforced to protect and fortify the security of homelands on Earth from rebels.

History[edit]

At some point prior to 2525, the articles of the act were amended. The amended Articles of the Homeland Security Act of 2162 provided for the use of the death penalty in punishing breaches of code-word classification confidentiality. On March 6, 2525, Vice Admiral Margaret Parangosky issued Order 276.8.91.848, which cited the Act's amended articles in conjunction with JAG 4465/LHG and the Wartime Articles of Secrecy to enforce top secret classification of all materials relating to the planet Onyx.[1]

Trivia[edit]

The term "homeland security" originates from a concept in U.S. national security and civil defense. It was introduced by the Homeland Security Act of 2002, which established the Department of Homeland Security in response to the September 11 terrorist attacks.
