Although the Warthog flipped over, Daisy-023 still managed to pull a wounded Howser out of the wreckage towards the Pelican. Another Elite, wielding a [[Needler]], fatally wounded Daisy-023 while pushing Howser out of the way. He made it to the Pelican, but Ralph refused to leave without her. Due to both Ralph and Howser's actions to save Daisy-023, the Pelican was destroyed by [[Fuel Rod Gun]]s and killed the Marines within the blast-radius.
