Gordon Smith is a UNSC Marine and a member of Warbird Company. During the Second Battle of Requiem, Smith and Warbird Company were stationed at the location known as "the Refuge." They were attacked by Covenant forces led by a group of Elites called the Silent Blade. During the battle Smith and the others were trapped behind an energy shield, preventing reinforcements from reaching them. Spartan Fireteam Crimson eventually managed to deactivate the shield and rescued the marines. [1]
