Germany, occasionally referred to by its endonym Deutschland,[1] is a country in West-central Europe. It is bordered on the north by the North Sea, Denmark, and the Baltic Sea; on the east by Poland and the Czech Republic; on the south by Austria and Switzerland; and on the west by France, Luxembourg, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Its official language is German.
In the Halo universe
By the 22nd century, Germany had become known as the "Unified German Republic".[2] Preceding the Interplanetary War of the mid-22nd century, the German colonies in the Jovian Moons - under the control of the the Frieden - became a major war zone during the Jovian Moons Campaign.
The Beweglichkeitsrüstungsysteme, an important UNSC research facility crucial to the development of several MJOLNIR armor components and variants, is located on Essen,[1] a city in the center of the Ruhr Area in North Rhine-Westphalia of Germany.
